Neon Drift Club

Neon Drift Club doesn't pretend to be a simulator. It's an arcade racer about holding a perfect drift through a corner while the city blurs past in pink and blue. The tilt controls are decent, but we switched to on-screen buttons and found them far more consistent.

Tracks are short and punchy, which suits mobile perfectly. There's a light upgrade system for your cars, and thankfully it never demanded grinding to stay competitive. The soundtrack is genuinely good, which matters more than people admit for a racing game.

Performance was strong on newer phones and a little choppy on our old one until we dropped the reflections. Battery use is on the heavier side, as expected for a fast racer, so keep a charger nearby on long trips.
